About Grid
Feed Solar Power Systems
What
is a grid feed Solar power system?

How
does it work?
- Sunlight hits the
solar modules, generating electricity.
- The electricity is
fed into an inverter which converts it to 240v that is normally
available in your home.
- This electricity
is used to run your home appliances.
- The surplus is sold
back to the electricity grid for use by other consumers.

How
does the clean electricity help?
- All your power generated
will reduce the power needed to be sourced from coal fired generators
this saves aprox 1.1 kilos of carbon per kw.
- So you will save
in excess of 2600 kilos of carbon dioxide being released into
the environment each year.
- Federal rebate: you
can now claim up to $8000 for any new domestic installation. Now
subject to a means test!
- Grid feed rebate:
you currently get 1: 1 rebate for any power generated by your
solar system when sold back to country energy.
Battery
Backups for off grid power supply

We have a large
range of batteries available from Federal, Battery Energy, Remco,
Gel-Tech, and Optima. Voltage capacities range between 2, 4, 6
and 12Volts. Some of the most popular models include: Sonnenschein
(pictured left), Exide Energystore Batteries, BP PV-stOr Vented
Lead acid Batteries, Concorde Sun-Xtender Valve regulated Lead
acid Batteries, Latronics and Xantrex Battery Chargers.
Mounting
Systems
Conergy mounting systems meet the highest requirements with regard
to technology, aesthetic appearance and quality. The systems are
made of aluminium and special steel which guarantees high durability
and complete recyclability.

Major
benefits of grid feed solar power?
:

Now
- Be part of the solution
not the problem.
- Generate clean
electricity - for your home as well as other users (when
it’s sold back to country energy).
- A 1kw/h system generates
one kw for each hour of sunlight it is exposed to. If the average
sunlight hours are 6.5 a day then you will generate 2372.5 kws
of clean electricity a year for up to 25 years.
- That’s in excess
of 59,000 kw of clean electricity over the life of the system.
The Future - Grid
feed rebates:
- Currently country
energy is offering a 1:1 rebate (this means they will refund you
at the same rate as you pay them for your electricity).
- South Australia has
already moved to offer clean power generators a 2:1 rebate for
all the clean power they generate - this means that you will get
twice as much for your clean power as you pay for the coal generated
power you buy from them. We believe it will be a matter of time
before our power suppliers move to match this.
- When our power company
moves to a 2:1 grid feed rebate your rebate will double on a monthly
basis, this could then make it worth your while to reassess if
it makes good sense to upgrade the system to a larger one.

New
Technology - PV
Panels
- There is a lot of
development going into building better panels, the systems we
suggest are all based on a modular structure and can be added
to at a later date.
- This means that your
current panels will still be able to continue to generate clean
power and they can be joined by the newer technology at a later
date with no detrimental effects to what is there.
- When the new panels
are available the major benefits will only get better - cheaper
panels or greater power per panel means the math will just improve.
